The solutionsvary from market development, market entry and market presence.The Role:International student recruitment advisor sits within the Recruitment, Outreach and Admissionsteam and holds responsibility for the planning and implementation of effective recruitmentstrategies to grow student numbers, in line with the school’s strategic plan on internationalrecruitment. The role holder will make a key contribution to growing the school’s incomethrough international student enrolments, engaging with multiple recruitment channels,stakeholders, and capitalizing on business development opportunities.Working closely with the school’s Marketing head, the role holder will help to set and achievechallenging recruitment targets for India and will be responsible for developing and deliveringthe associated recruitment strategy and tactics. In addition, the post holder will also work closelywith marketing colleagues to assist with profile-raising and publicity activity for the region; beresponsible for budget management; and co-ordinate in-country visits for academic andprofessional services colleagues as appropriate.Key responsibilities: Be responsible to execute the strategy and delivery of effective recruitment market plansand strategies to maximize student and revenue growth from India. Carry out the day-to-day activity required to realize the objectives of this marketing andrecruitment strategy: attending exhibitions, undertaking school and college visits, visitingagencies, etc. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key external stakeholders inIndia: education agents, school and college counsellors, Education Council, sponsorshipbodies, accreditation bodies, alumni, etc. The incumbent will attend education fairs and other recruitment events across India tomeet and advise prospective students and offer-holders on a range of matters includingprograms, entry requirements and application processes The incumbent will work closely with colleagues across the School to implement andmanage robust recruitment and admissions processes Organize and support recruitment-focused events like offer-holder briefings and pre-departure events by booking venue(s), sending invitations, attending events across India,etc. Event Management – Organizing and supporting a range of offline and online recruitmentevents including agent workshops, and sessions for enquirers, applicants and offerholders, with schools, alumni and other stakeholders Support promotional campaigns such as the promotion of scholarships to offer-holdersthrough the creation and distribution of materials to relevant stakeholders. Conduct market research including through gathering contact information for high schoolcounsellors and competitor institution entry requirements from India. Source, analyzeprovide India market data. Contribute to the development of business cases and budget plans for forthcoming years,including requirements for overseas expenditure, partnerships and overseas staffingrequirements Track all expenditure in line with agreed budgets, to maximize impact and return oninvestment Undertake regular outbound calling of prospects Work with the conversion team on pre-departure virtual activities Follow up with prospects and applicants as well as answering individual queries Help out others in the international team when need be (i.e. cover virtual events, callapplicants etc.) including traveling to other countries outside India if required. Update our CRM with every prospect, applicant, school, and agent interaction and makesure all contacts are up to date at all times Participate in weekly one-to-one and team meetings when not travelling Follow monthly objectives and produce a monthly report of the work undertaken withindeadlines givenPerson Specification: Educated to Master’s degree level or equivalent, preferably from UK/ Ireland orSingapore Understanding the opportunities and challenges affecting the global higher educationmarket Demonstrable (3+ years) student recruitment experience of working in India Proven experience of planning and implementing effective recruitment and conversionplans to maximize student growth from priority markets Experience in managing an extensive agent network for student recruitment purposes Understand the importance of service delivery and show a willingness to work withcolleagues across the institution to collectively work towards the strategic goals of the3dSense Media School. Highly developed written and oral communication and presentation skills, including useof digital and social media for business purposes Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize demanding workloads and meetdeadlines in a pressurized environment Willingness to adopt a flexible working approach by working unsocial hours, weekends,or occasional public holidays when required Ability to undertake business-related travel in the market on an unrestricted basis(indicative 15-20 weeks per year), and undertake visits to Singapore for trainings andmeetings The incumbent must possess a valid passport The incumbent should not have any business or family ties with educational agentsAvailability and start date:Immediate, however any notice period for the right candidate will be honoredNOTE:OneStep Global is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to the employment policies,procedures and practices which do not discriminate on grounds such as gender, marital status,family status, age, disability, race, religious belief, sexual orientation.
