Recognised globally as a leader in advanced control technology within the power generation sector, we are always on the look-out for new talent to join our team.We are currently seeking aDesign Engineerto join us inNew Delhi .The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, programming, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting of ComAp systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, SCADA, and related automation equipment.This role requires expertise in industrial control systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of automated processes within the plant or facility.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and implement ComAp systems and PLC programs for industrial automation and power automation systems. AutoCAD/E-Plan drawings, modification, and updating existing ComAp projects as needed. Program PLCs using various platforms such as Siemens Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or others. Troubleshoot, modify, and update existing PLC programs as needed. Work closely with engineers and technicians to design, specify and integrate PLC systems into new and existing control systems. Perform hardware and software configurations for PLCs, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA systems, and other automation equipment. Identification, analysis and management of design issues and other risks that may adversely affect project delivery. Clear and accurate documentation of all aspects of projects including risks is undertaken. Conduct system testing, commissioning and validation of PLC-based control systems. Perform functional testing to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during system commissioning. FAT and SAT of the ComAp solution at workshop or site. Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of PLCs, sensors, actuators, motors, and other control components. Recommend improvements and upgrades to existing automation systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, electrical, mechanical) to ensure integration of PLC systems with other plant equipment. Train operators and technicians on the use, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC-based systems.Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience inElectrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineeringor relevant technical degree Experience withPLC logic developmentandPLC panel design SCADAexperience Control systems and automation design experience 2D & 3D design experience Electrical circuit design experience , including layout of power distribution systems Knowledge of and experience with renewable energy systems design (solar, wind, etc.) Ability to develop and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics Strong knowledge of electrical components and their applications Design software experience (usingAutoCAD /EPLAN) Strong organizational and communication skills, with strong English communication skills.Why ComAp?
