Today, The Madras Seva Sadan comprises various prominent units such as the Lady Andal IB School, Sir Mutha CBSE School, Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall and The Madras Seva Sadan Higher Secondary School, to name a few units.Who are we looking for?We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional with8 to 10 yearsof experience inbusiness development , andfundraising , with a proven track record indeveloping and implementing CSR strategies . The ideal candidate understands numbers, and project management, and has a proven track record of engaging with corporates. Our ideal candidate would be a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and a passion for making an impact.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with drafting business proposals and sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required. Build strong relationships with corporate CSR teams and stakeholders. Lead sales activities, and initiate calls, meetings, and discussions with new prospects, companies, CSR teams, and other stakeholders proactively. Monitor and track project activities to ensure progress in sales and close cycles to report to the stakeholders. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to close high-value deals, refine sales strategies, and monitor key metrics to meet or exceed targets. Evaluate the effectiveness of the sales methods and program and recalibrate strategies to ensure the achievement of targets. Create effective approaches, methods, and activities, that will ensure the building of a high-quality pipeline, close rate, and controlled sales cycle. Attend conferences and networking events for lead generation, competition analysis, and The Madras Seva Sadan’s brand promotion in the industry.Skills & Qualifications:8+ years of experience working in either sales/ fundraising/ donor management/ handling grants or client/client-facing roles in the social sector/ CSR/ NGO/start-up. Expertise in fundraising in both CSR, Philanthropy, HNIs and retail is a must. Should have experience in driving fundraising, independently or working with a team Fluency in both English and Tamil. (Knowledge of Hindi will be an added benefit) Exceptional communication and articulation skills (written and verbal) to present ideas, approaches, and solutions. Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative. Candidate must be based in Chennai, with availability for full-time hours 9 am to 5 pm.
