Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Microsoft SQL Server Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, with strong expertise in database development, optimization, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of MySQL is a significant plus and will be advantageous for cross-database initiatives within the organization.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases to support application requirements. Write efficient, scalable SQL queries and stored procedures, views, and triggers. Perform database tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting to improve performance and efficiency. Implement and maintain database security, including role-based access and encryption. Collaborate closely with application developers to support data integration requirements. Conduct data migration tasks, database backups, recovery procedures, and routine maintenance. Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation. Develop and implement data warehousing and ETL processes for reporting and analytics. Support database design and data architecture best practices. Contribute to cross-database solutions, leveraging MySQL knowledge when applicable.Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Developer, including SQL Server 2016 and later versions. Strong expertise in T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes. Demonstrated experience with database optimization, indexing, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Solid understanding of database security practices and standards. Experience with database backup and recovery best practices. Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL concepts. Familiarity with MySQL database development is a significant advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.Preferred Skills Experience with MySQL database development and maintenance. Knowledge of cloud database services such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.
