Title: Senior AppDynamics Observability SME Work Location: RemoteWork Shift: Starts from 4:30PM ISTRelevant years of experience: 6+Notice Period: Immediate/Currently serving noticeRequired Qualifications:8+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or engineering3 + years’ experience leading people and/or leading large-scale projects2+ years’ experience working with automation concepts and tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Python to develop configuration, deployment, and orchestration workflowsPreferred Qualifications:Strong knowledge of modern observability tools (e.g., App Dynamics, Cisco Cloud Observability, Prometheus, Grafana, App Dynamics, ELK stack, DynaTrace, New Relic) and related practicesExperience with both legacy systems and modern cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, microservices, serverless)Specific Skill-Set Requirements:In specific with AppDynamics experience with machine agent installation and troubleshooting (Windows and Linux at minimum)• App agent installation, and troubleshooting (mainly Java, .NET, Node JS, etc.)• DB agent installation, troubleshooting and DB collector configuration.• End User monitoring (nice to have)• Synthetics (nice to have)• Post agent enablement tasks:o AppDynamics Application configuration customization (including BTs, Thresholds, BT detection, etc.)o Health Ruleso Policieso Actionso Dashboards In general:• Proven expertise in observability, monitoring, and performance management of large-scale, distributed systems• Experience with both legacy systems and modern cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, microservices, serverless)• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, presenting findings and plans, and documenting systems and processes.• Ability to own problems end-to-end, and willingness to obtain any required knowledge to get the job done• Ability to lead matrix teams to achieve complex goals with a strong sense of accountability and integrity• Ability to break down complex issues and develop innovative, comprehensive solutions• Excellent project and program management skills, with a track record of leading complex initiatives to successful completion• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and improvementsPreferred Certifications (nice to have)• AppDynamics Certified Performance Analyst• AppDynamics Certified Administrator• AppDynamics Certified Implementer• AppDynamics Certified Developer
