Peter Yang, a tech and AI creator with 120K+ newsletter subscribers and 200K+ combined X/LinkedIn followers, is on the hunt for a Video Editor & Thumbnail Designer to collaborate long-term on his YouTube channel! We're helping him fill this position.If you're passionate about creating premium content in the tech and AI space and can deliver high-CTR thumbnails with compelling video edits, this is the right role for you.The role: Peter is building his YouTube channel "Behind the Craft" with a goal to reach 100K subscribers by early 2026. He's looking for someone who can handle both video editing and thumbnail design to create a consistent, premium aesthetic that drives engagement.Your job? Create engaging podcast and talking head videos with attention-grabbing intros, design high-CTR thumbnails, and produce YouTube Shorts from existing content. You'll be instrumental in helping Peter grow his channel through compelling visual content.Here's what you'll be working on:Creating engaging podcast (40-60 min) and talking head videos (10 min) with relevant animations and optimal pacingDesigning clean, visually striking thumbnails with compelling copy that drive clicksProducing YouTube Shorts by extracting key moments from long-form videosWorking with a 3-4 day turnaround timeframe (receiving footage on Fridays, delivering edits by Wednesday)The ideal candidate will:Have a proven portfolio of engaging videos and thumbnails aligned with Peter's reference channelsDemonstrate knowledge of the AI/tech space to find relevant B-roll and create accurate contentBe able to commit to editing 2-4 videos per monthBe comfortable with per-video payment (monthly arrangements can be considered)Style references:Thumbnails: Clean style like Colin and Samir, with compelling copy like Greg IsenbergPodcast videos: Current intro styles on Peter's channelTalking head videos: Jeff Su's engaging, professional styleMore details: creator is using Roster to track and manage all applicants.
