Job Title: Social Media Specialist Key Responsibilities: 1.Social Media Management ∙Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads). ∙Develop and maintain a monthly social media calendar aligned with real estate listings, open houses, market trends, and events. ∙Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track social performance using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later. 2.Video Editing ∙Edit short-form and long-form real estate content, including property tours, testimonial videos, behind-the-scenes clips, and market updates. ∙Add branded intros/outros, subtitles, callouts, and transitions to ensure a polished look. ∙Optimize video formats for specific platforms (Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.). 3.Content Uploading & Branding ∙Ensure all content is accurately uploaded, formatted, and tagged with relevant keywords and metadata. ∙Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, including visuals, tone, and messaging. 4.Collaboration & Support ∙Coordinate with the realtor on content needs, priorities, and weekly scheduling. ∙Suggest new content ideas based on real estate trends, audience insights, and platform changes. ∙Handle occasional administrative content tasks (e.g., uploading listings, organizing Google Drive folders). Qualifications & Skills: ∙Proven experience managing social media for personal brands or real estate professionals. ∙Proficiency with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Descript, etc.). ∙Familiarity with podcast editing software (Audacity, GarageBand, or Descript). ∙Strong understanding of social media best practices, especially for relevant audiences. ∙Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. ∙Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. ∙Knowledge of social media trends is a strong asset.
