Job Description

Title: RSD Install Support TechnicianLocation: Fully Remote in IndiaDuration: 6 month extending contract (based on performance)Shift Schedule: Overnight in IST4:00-1:00pm PST6:00-3:00sm PST7pm - 5am PSTStart Date: ASAP - 30 day notice periods or immediate joiners REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE• Prior experience in installing and configuring tech equipment, including Point of Sale systems, server racks, network switches, and Endpoint management and software deployment tools (like System Center Configuration Manager and Workspace One)• Support of POS software, including Oracle xStore.• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on comprehension and walking someone through repairs over the phone.• Proficiency in managing hypervisors and operating systems: Windows 10/11, Ubuntu Linux.• Ability to read/write basic PowerShell/Bash scripts.• Experience with DELL servers and iDrac• Experience in Active Directory (Azure AD, On-Prem, Group Policy).• Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP• Experience and knowledge in troubleshooting LAN, WAN, DSL, and T1 circuits, and low voltage cabling• Experience troubleshooting and supporting OPOS applicationsDay to Day:Check emails and support tickets to identify urgent issues.Lead Zoom meetings with technicians to coordinate efforts and resolve problems.Supervise fellow installers remotely to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.Provide remote support to other engineers for installations.Document nightly work and update existing procedures.Compensation: $5.00-10.00/HR USD
