This role encompasses managing the entire recruitment cycle, fostering strong relationships with both candidates and clients, and ensuring all placements meet rigorous industry standards. Additionally, the Consultant will oversee payroll inquiries, coordinate scheduling and cancellations of assignments, and actively engage in business development to drive growth within the sector.Responsibilities:Talent Sourcing:Proactively source qualified life science professionals through job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and other life science industries to meet client demand.Utilize creative sourcing techniques to attract passive candidates in specialized fields.Pipeline Management:Build and sustain a robust pipeline of candidates to ensure continuous availability of skilled professionals.Regularly update and manage candidate databases, ensuring information accuracy and relevancy.Monitor pipeline health and take proactive steps to address shortages in key areas.Support compliance officers in gathering necessary candidate documentation.Candidate Engagement:Establish and nurture long-term relationships with candidates, providing regular communication and guidance throughout the recruitment process.Offer detailed insights into available roles, client expectations, and industry-specific requirements.Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial interaction to successful placement and beyond.Continuously confirm candidate availability and address inquiries proactively.Candidate Assessment, Screening, and Onboarding:Conduct comprehensive candidate evaluations, including interviews, reference checks, and verification of credentials and regulatory certifications.Screen candidates to confirm alignment with client needs and compliance with industry regulations.Streamline the onboarding process to ensure candidates meet all necessary compliance and documentation requirements.Deliver a high-quality candidate experience with exceptional customer service.Market Research:Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive salary benchmarks within life sciences.Conduct regular research to identify new opportunities for talent placement and client acquisition.Provide informed recommendations to optimize recruitment strategies based on emerging market trends.Administration:Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including candidate interactions, client communications, and placement outcomes.Complete all administrative tasks efficiently and ensure CRM systems are continuously updated.Performance Management:Meet and exceed individual recruitment targets and service-level agreements, contributing to overall team success.Analyze personal performance metrics and implement corrective strategies where needed.Participate in regular reviews with the Recruitment Team Leader/Manager to enhance effectiveness.Internal Collaboration:Work closely with colleagues in marketing, compliance, and payroll to ensure smooth recruitment operations.Share market insights, candidate feedback, and strategic information with the broader team.Attend team meetings, training sessions, and contribute to collaborative initiatives.Client and Stakeholder Management:Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored recruitment solutions.Maintain ongoing communication with clients to update them on candidate availability, placement progress, and any concerns.Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and workforce planning recommendations within the life sciences industry.Payroll Queries:Assist candidates with payroll-related inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.Work closely with payroll departments to address discrepancies or concerns regarding payments.Verify payroll details and assist in the acquisition of missing, rejected, or released timesheets.Booking and Cancellation of Assignments:Coordinate the scheduling and cancellation of assignments for life science candidates, ensuring client needs are met efficiently.Work with clients and candidates to manage last-minute vacancies and changes in assignments.Reconfirm scheduled candidates to minimize no-shows and maintain operational consistency.Keep CRM systems updated with booking and cancellation records, ensuring compliance with company policies and client agreements.Requirements:Mandatory Life Science Experience: Extensive recruitment experience within the life sciences sector is essential.Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to engage effectively with clients, candidates, and colleagues, fostering lasting professional relationships.Business Development & Negotiation Expertise: Proven track record of exceeding targets in a KPI-driven environment,
