Position Overview:As a member of Global Network Services team you will help build and manage network and network security technologies that will connect our employees with its customers, put resources in the hands of the health professionals who need them and help play its part in the future of healthcare. Supported by the resources you need to make informed and accurate business decisions, you will be empowered to maximize your performance and that of the organization.The Senior Manager for Network Support will be responsible for engineering, operations activities, planning, implementation and monitoring of enterprise network and network security platforms in order to maintain availability and security for company systems and assets. Other responsibilities include leading a team of engineers to respond to outages, issues or troubleshooting activities. The position will direct teams in maintaining infrastructure and processes, and provide guidance over all availability and security aspects of data network implementation.Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership and vision around network and network security monitoring, implementation, and processes with balance of scalability, stability, cost, robustness and flexibility.Build and direct teams responsible for oversight, delivery and management of network operations activities.Work closely with the Global NOC to implement standards around monitoring of network and network security devices and logging.Conduct periodic vulnerability and security audits, and take necessary actions to resolve any security vulnerabilities.Lead reporting and remediation efforts surrounding audit compliancePresent and communicate regular updates to the senior leadership teamEngage and collaborate with various IT teams and end users to resolve network and network security related connectivity issuesReviews and approves change activities to ensure proper coordination, implementation and validation procedures are in-place. Ensures conformance to Technology Change Management / IT Service Management policies.Ensure all staff is provided with training and resources needed to perform their jobs to the most outstanding degree possible.
