This role plays a key part in shaping GMISA’s online identity, ensuring timely, engaging, and relevant content is shared across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and deeply understands student engagement and cultural relevance.Responsibilities • Design and produce visual and written content for social media platforms • Plan and manage content calendars to align with ongoing events and campaigns • Schedule and publish posts using digital tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) • Collaborate with events and outreach teams for promotion • Stay updated with trends and suggest content ideas accordingly • Monitor engagement and report on performance analyticsQualifications • Experience in digital content creation and scheduling • Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) • Strong writing and communication skills • Detail-oriented with good time management • Experience working with student organizations or non-profits is a plus • A relevant degree or diploma in Media, Communications, or Marketing is preferred
