Job Description

Purpose of the Business Development RoleDrive sales across Ingredients in the Personal Care Portfolio and expand its customer base.The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.Main tasks and responsibilities• Conducting comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities,prospect potential clients and analyse market trends, competitive landscapes to informthe Founding Team.• Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, penetrate newmarkets, and drive business growth.• Building and nurturing client relationships with existing and potential clients,understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.• Visiting existing and potential customers on a timely basis across the applicablegeographical scope.• Educate and provide guidance to customers on possible product applications byworking closely with technical services lab.• Submitting timely reports w.r.t sales, customer visits, strategies, feedback andcomplying with the existing CRM.• Co-ordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints• Supporting payment collection and co-ordinating with customers and accounts team.Key Attributes• Ability to drive aggressive growth through sales for the business unit• Proven track record in sales of speciality chemicals to Personal Care with a techno-commercial acumen.• Strong working knowledge of Personal Care industry, preferably having worked in thesales function.• Conversant with categories like hair care, skin care, bath & shower, and colourcosmetics• Team player with sound verbal/ written communication skills and a customer centricmindset• Ambitious, self-motivated, results driven and well-organized individual seeking along-term association with the organizationQualifications Full time graduate degree in Chemical Engineering/Cosmetics/MSc Chemistry preferred3 - 8 years of Sales Experience in Personal Care Sector
