The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of internal medicine, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage a wide variety of adult medical conditions. This role will involve providing comprehensive care to patients, mentoring junior medical staff, and contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care and departmental goals.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality medical care, diagnosing and treating patients with complex internal medical conditions.Manage both inpatient and outpatient care, including acute and chronic medical conditions.Perform comprehensive assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering relevant diagnostic tests.Develop treatment plans, including pharmacological management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists as required.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient care.Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical residents.Participate in continuous medical education and departmental meetings to stay updated with the latest advancements in internal medicine.Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans in compliance with institutional standards and regulations.Promote patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and managing chronic conditions.Required Qualifications:MD/MS in General Medicine from a recognized institution.Minimum of 8 years of post-MD experience in Internal Medicine.Comprehensive knowledge of internal medicine, including a wide range of adult diseases.Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage critical medical conditions.Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and clinical skills.Preferred Skills:Ability to lead and mentor a medical team effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and empathy.Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development.Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical management tools.Remuneration:Commensurate with experience and institutional policies.
