The job of HR Manager is important to business success. People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and facilities management servicesHR Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.∙ Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.∙ Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.∙ Manage the recruitment and selection process.∙ Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital. ∙ Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.∙ Nurture a positive working environment. ∙ Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. ∙ Maintain pay plan and benefits program. ∙ Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.∙ Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.∙ Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.QualificationsHR MANAGER EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive. People oriented and results driven.Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.A minimum of Four years of human resource management experience preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and speak the English language and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to effectively communicate professionally with guests, associates, supervisors, and others as required for optimum operation of the property.COMPUTER SKILLSHR Managers must have sufficient computer skills that will allow them to be able to use, in a proficient manner, all Company-issued software programs implemented at the hotel, including but not limited to the followingMicrosoft Word, Excel, Power point.Company-issued internet browser programs.Company-issued electronic mail programs.Will have to work on IDS software.REASONING ABILITYHR Managers must have developed reasoning abilities to the point to be able to Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Read and interpret business records and statistical reports.Make business decisions based on production reports and similar facts, as well as on your own experience and personal opinions.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
