The ideal candidate will be proficient in using CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and plans. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers to develop designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards, and making necessary revisions based on feedback. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in Oil & Gas is preferred.CAD Designer Duties:Must show work samples, showing AutoCAD proficiency.Create and analyze detailed CAD drawings and designsDevelop and maintain CAD design standards for the companyPrepare detailed construction documentsAssist in maintenance, turnover, and field layout of projectsCreate 2D, 3D, and isometric drawingsCreate renderings and animationsGenerate 3D files from plansCreate 3D drawings from 2D sketchesGenerate documentation or manuals from 3D modelsGenerate certificates from 3D modelsWork with others on team projectsMust have understanding of construction documentation.CAD Designer Responsibilities:You will be required to take an AutoCAD proficiency Test.Have good understanding of construction documentation.Provide input for project documentation including sketches, preliminary proposals, project budgets, schedules, and project plansWork with the architect, engineer and other members of the project team as part of the master planning processCollaborate with staff to create 3D models of proposed layoutsTranslate 2D concepts into 3D renderings and animationsGenerate and revise detailed 2D plans and elevations, and 3D perspective viewsUse CAD software to create 2D drawings and 3D models of the projectCoordinate with inspectors and inspectors to validate the designs and make sure projects comply with local building codesMaintain coordination with the general contractor and contractors, including scheduling and product deliveryMaintain communication with the project management team, architects and engineers, project team, homeowners, and sub-contractorsPerform other duties as assigned including periodic reviews of drawings and specificationsRequirements And Skills:Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related fieldSolid knowledge of drafting and rendering techniquesExcellent computer skills, including familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesignExcellent communication skillsExperience in Oil and Gas industry is preferred
