Job Description: Tech Lead/Senior Software EngineerAbout Flexmoney:Flexmoney’s mission is to “Democratize and Simplify Consumer Finance”. Our best-in-classembedded digital finance platform enables any retailer, e-commerce merchant or othercommerce partner to offer the widest range of embedded, frictionless instant digitalaffordability options from multiple trusted lenders across all customer touch points. We workwith trusted lending partners (Banks, NBFCs and Fintechs) to develop and offer regulatorcompliant, instant digital credit products embedded in consumer journeys.Flexmoney was instrumental in helping define and establish the “Cardless EMI” category andpayment checkout option with lenders and online merchants in the Indian market, enablinglenders to offer a completely digital transacting credit instrument to pre-approved userswithout the need for a credit card relationship. Our “Cardless EMI” platform powers thispayment option at over 65,000 online merchants (including marquee merchants such asFlipkart, Amazon, MakeMyTrip etc) and has enabled our lending partners (such as HDFC, ICICI,Kotak Mahindra Bank & ICICI Bank amongst others) to rapidly issue over 45 MM+ CardlessEMI transacting credit lines to their existing customers.The next phase of Flexmoney’s growth is to expand beyond online “Cardless EMI” payments.To that end we are developing a new digital Universal Affordability Platform that enablesomni-channel, seamless multi-lender 3600 embedded finance and associated services acrossevery potential commerce channel and customer touch point (online, in-store/in-branch,tele-sales and agent assisted sales) as well as tailored credit products and deep verticalsolutions for multiple finance-led aspirational commerce segments (such as Edtech, Travel,Home & Furniture, Insurance, Mobiles, Home Appliances, Health & Wellness amongst others).Job Role:We are looking for smart, passionate, humble Engineering Lead with a solid technical mindsetto join our team and help build, improve & manage the key product and technology initiativesof the OrganizationLocation: Lower Parel, Mumbai (Work from Office)Key Responsibilities● Take end-to-end ownership of key product and technology initiatives, from design andspecification to development, testing, and launch.● Develop and test product or system code.● Lead or participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to determine thebest technologies.● Review code from other developers, providing feedback on best practices, includingstyle guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.● Create and update documentation or educational content based on product/programupdates and user feedback.● Analyze, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by identifying theirsources and impact on hardware, network, service operations, and quality.Requirements & Qualifications● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.● 4+ years of development experience.● Ability to effectively understand, prioritize, and translate product and businessrequirements into technical solutions.● Experience with technologies such as AWS/Google Cloud, Relational or NoSQLDatabases, Messaging Queues, and Multiple-Service architectures.● Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.● Ability to benchmark and optimize systems.● Experience working with Mobile or Web frameworks.Key SkillsProduct Development, Coding, Distributed Systems, Interpersonal Communication
