Leverage your expert SQL skills, robust analytical capabilities, and exceptional communication to transform business needs into practical data analyses and effectively present your findings to stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to innovate with leading-edge streaming technologies and directly influence our business success.Roles and Responsibilities:Business Question Translation: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their core business questions and translate them into clear and concise data analysis plans.Project Planning: Create detailed, step-by-step project plans for streaming data analysis initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.Real-time Data Analysis: Design, develop, and execute efficient SQL queries against streaming data platforms to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data in real-time.Customer-Centric Analysis: Apply customer analytics and/or marketing analytics techniques to streaming data to identify trends, segment customers, and drive business performance.Statistical Modeling (Python): Apply hands-on experience in building statistical models in Python to analyze streaming data and uncover predictive insights.Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges related to streaming data, processing, and analysis with quick and clever solutions.Deliverable Design: Define the output deliverable, including the format and key metrics, and design the necessary data structure to effectively answer business questions.Insight Presentation: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, clearly articulating key findings and actionable recommendations.Data Storytelling: Craft clear and impactful presentation decks using appropriate data visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Excel) and formatting to highlight critical takeaways from streaming data.End-to-End Analysis Execution: Own the complete data analysis lifecycle for streaming data, from gathering stakeholder needs and writing SQL queries to summarizing real-time data, creating presentations, and presenting findings.Required Skill Sets:Expert in SQL, PythonExpert in deriving actionable and impactful business insightsExperience in AWS, RedshiftMust have prior experience in streaming analyticsGood to have customer analytics/marketing analytics experience.Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.4+ years as a data analyst and 2+ years as streaming data analyst“Straive is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
