This individual will be responsible for managing the production process, coordinating teams, ensuring the maintenance of plant equipment, optimizing production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management within the food, agriculture, or manufacturing industries, with a specific focus on cotton cake or similar products.Key Responsibilities:-Production Management:Oversee day-to-day operations of the production plant, ensuring the efficient production of cotton cake in line with company standards and objectives.Ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are met consistently.Develop and implement production schedules and monitor their adherence.Allocate and manage resources effectively to achieve operational goals.Coordinate with the planning, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.Team Leadership:Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to the production team.Process Optimization & Cost Control:Continuously analyse production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality and manage production costs.Implement lean manufacturing practices and other cost-saving initiatives to optimize production.Quality Assurance:Ensure that production processes adhere to all quality standards and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department to ensure the cotton cake products meet all required specifications and are free from defects.Implement corrective actions in case of quality issues and lead efforts to address root causes.Maintenance & Equipment:Work with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.Lead efforts to prevent downtime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.Reporting & Analysis:Prepare and submit regular production reports to management, highlighting key metrics.Forecast production needs and analyse production data and provide recommendations for improvements.Experience:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in production managementStrong understanding of the production process, machinery, and equipment used in the cotton cake or related industries.Experience in implementing lean manufacturing techniques and process optimization.Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.In-depth knowledge of production planning and quality control methods.Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental policies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP systems is a plus.Salary and other Benefits: 1.
