JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 plus years of hands-on experience in managing Productions/last mile delivery operations/ fleet management/ fleet sourcing in a fast-paced environment. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our last mile delivery operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customersPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize last mile delivery operations, including route planning, vehicle utilization, and resource allocation.Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of delivery drivers and warehouse staff to ensure high performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed operational targets.Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction, including timely resolution of delivery issues and customer complaints.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party delivery vendors and carriers to ensure alignment with company standards and service level agreements.Client Management: Manage relationships with clients to ensure alignment with company standards and service level agreements.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards governing last mile delivery operations, including driver licensing, vehicle maintenance, and transportation regulations.Cost Management: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize operational expenses without compromising service quality or delivery performance.Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.DESIRED EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferredMinimum of 4 plus years of experience in last mile delivery operations management, preferably in the e-commerce or logistics industriesProven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.Proficiency in using excel and data visualization toolsKnowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to last mile delivery operationsFlexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
