In this role, you will build, maintain, and scale both front-end and back-end components for our web applications. You will collaborate with our existing team to drive projects forward. The ideal candidate excels at crafting efficient solutions, overcoming complex challenges, and ensuring a seamless user experience in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:· Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using React· Develop robust RESTful APIs and server-side logic with Django· Configure, deploy, and optimize applications on AWS· Optimize performance across various devices and browsers· Implement best practices for data protection, authentication, and authorization· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features· Write clean, well-structured code and conduct code reviews· Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve development workflowsExpected Skill Sets:· 3-8 years of web development experience, with at least 2 years in a full stack role· Proficiency in React (preferably with TypeScript) and modern workflows like Redux· Strong Python skills and experience with Django or similar frameworks· Hands-on experience with AWS for deployment and scaling· Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, NPM, Babel) and version control (Git)· Solid understanding of databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and ORMs· Knowledge of modern authorization methods and security best practices· Experience working with medical data, privacy standards is a plus· Strong communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively in a team environmentNon-monetary emoluments:IIT Bombay provides a dynamic environment that encourages creative freedom and leadership in project execution.
