Role: Snowflake Administrator – L3Experience: 8–10 Years Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Pune Joining: Immediate / Quick Joiners Preferred Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are hiring a seasoned Snowflake Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Snowflake Data Platform. The ideal candidate will ensure the performance, security, and scalability of Snowflake environments while supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives.Key Responsibilities:System Administration:Deploy, configure, and administer Snowflake environments.Manage user roles, access control, and permissions.Monitor system performance, storage, and query execution.Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues and errors.Implement security controls including encryption and data access policies.Performance Optimization:Analyze and address performance bottlenecks within Snowflake.Tune SQL queries and manage warehouse configurations.Monitor and analyze usage patterns for capacity planning and scaling.Data Management:Handle data loading, staging, and transformation within Snowflake.Ensure data consistency, governance, and quality across all layers.Manage file formats, storage layers, and pipeline integration.Monitoring & Maintenance:Perform routine tasks including monitoring, patching, backups, and upgrades.Stay current with Snowflake product updates, features, and best practices.Required Skills:Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and securityProficiency in SQL and relational data modelingFamiliarity with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing conceptsExperience with scripting (Python, Shell) for automationWorking knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Exposure to Linux-based environmentsPreferred Tools & Features:Experience with Snowflake features: Cloning, Secure Views, Resource Monitors, Caching, Data SharingFamiliarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards
