Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced HR - Learning & Development (L&D) Managerwith specialized expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ContentDevelopment to oversee the management and optimization of our LMS platform,and the creation and maintenance of high-quality learning content. This role isresponsible for ensuring that all employee training activities are properly recorded inthe LMS, and will drive the creation of engaging, impactful training programs thatenhance employee learning experiences. The ideal candidate will also haveexperience in the manufacturing or energy sector, as the role will involvedeveloping technical training content in collaboration with subject matter experts(SMEs).Key Responsibilities:Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: LMS Management: Administer and optimize the company’s LearningManagement System (LMS) to ensure seamless delivery of online learningexperiences for employees. User Support & Training: Provide training and support to employees andmanagers on using the LMS. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensuresystem functionality aligns with training needs. System Integration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate the LMS withother HR and business systems for seamless data sharing and reporting. Content Upload & Tracking: Manage the efficient upload and organization oflearning content within the LMS. Ensure that course materials, assessments,and certifications are properly organized, accessible, and up-to-date. Timely Recording of Trainings: Ensure that all employee trainings—whetherinstructor-led, virtual, or e-learning—are accurately and promptly recorded inthe LMS, maintaining up-to-date training records for all employees. Reporting & Analytics: Track and generate reports on course enrollment,completion rates, learner progress, and other LMS metrics to assess trainingengagement and effectiveness.Content Development & Management: Content Creation & Liaison with SMEs: Collaborate closely with in-housesubject matter experts (SMEs) to build detailed content outlines and developtechnical training content as needed. Ensure that the content is tailored to theneeds of different teams and aligns with organizational objectives. Content Development: Develop high-quality, engaging, and interactivetraining materials such as e-learning modules, videos, assessments, andguides that are hosted on the LMS. Content Curation: Curate third-party and internal learning content that isaligned with employee development needs and business objectives. Content Maintenance: Regularly update and refresh content to ensure itsrelevance and alignment with business goals. Maintain a structured contentlibrary for easy access and retrieval. Instructional Design: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) todesign and develop instructional materials that cater to various learning stylesand organizational needs. Quality Assurance: Review and evaluate all content for clarity, quality, andeffectiveness, ensuring alignment with learning objectives.Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Learning & Development,Education, or related field. Certification in Instructional Design or a relatedfield is a plus. Experience:o Minimum of 7-10 years in Learning & Development with significantexperience in LMS administration and content development.o Proven experience managing and configuring LMS platforms (e.g.,Moodle, SuccessFactors, Oracle, etc.).o Strong background in instructional design and creating e-learningcontent (using tools like Articulate, Captivate, etc.).o Experience in the management of digital learning tools and contentdelivery across a variety of formats (e.g., e-learning, video-basedlearning, quizzes). Skills:o Advanced proficiency in LMS administration, configuration, andtroubleshooting.o Proficiency in eLearning development tools such as ArticulateStoryline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.o Strong project management skills, including content development andcourse rollout.o Analytical skills to track, measure, and report on LMS data and trainingeffectiveness.o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaboratewith SMEs and stakeholders effectively.Desired Attributes: Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and high-quality delivery oftraining content.
