This is a role for someone who can make things happen overnight, pick up new tools and frameworks on the fly, and push through ambiguity with a bias for action.You’ll be responsible for building scalable, efficient, and maintainable web applications — from API architecture and database design on the backend to building sleek, high-performance UIs on the frontend. You’ll work directly with product, design, and other engineers to build, ship, and refine features end-to-end.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js, Express, and SQL. Build responsive, component-driven UIs using React.js, Redux, Material UI and modern JavaScript. Translate product ideas and user stories into technical implementations. Quickly learn and integrate new technologies or APIs as needed. Write clean, testable code and collaborate through code reviews and pair programming. Optimise performance across the stack and troubleshoot complex bugs with minimal support. Take ownership of features and drive them from concept to production.Required SkillsProficient in JavaScript, Node.js, React, Express, and MongoDB. Experience with API development, version control (Git), and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/etc.). Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, security best practices, and performance tuning. Familiar with CI/CD workflows, Docker, and unit testing frameworks. Demonstrated ability to learn new tools or frameworks quickly and independently.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, or microservices.
