Our mission is to ensure clients stay ahead in the ever-changing landscape and maximize their overall success.Job Description: Business Development Manager (IT Consulting and Staffing with Bench Resource Focus)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in IT consulting and staffing, with a focus on managing and marketing bench resources. The BDM will oversee onboarding bench consultants, assist with resume enhancements, coordinate with bench sales recruiters, and nurture relationships with clients and vendors. The role also involves monitoring daily placements, managing contracts, MSAs, and SOWs, and driving business growth through new opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesBench Resource Management- Oversee the onboarding process for new bench resources, ensuring proper documentation, skill assessments, and readiness for marketing. - Collaborate with consultants to refine and tailor their resumes to meet industry standards and job requirements. - Provide training and mentorship to bench consultants to improve interview readiness and marketability. - Monitor the daily placements and performance of bench resources to ensure optimal utilization.Coordination with Bench Sales Recruiters- Work closely with bench sales recruiters to strategize the marketing of bench resources. - Ensure recruiters have updated and accurate information about consultant skills, preferences, and work authorizations. - Track recruiter performance and provide feedback to enhance placements. - Maintain a collaborative and streamlined process for job submissions, follow-ups, and closures.Client and Vendor Relations- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and vendors. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their staffing needs and ensuring satisfaction. - Identify new business opportunities with direct clients, MSPs, and VMS platforms. - Manage contract negotiations, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Statements of Work (SOWs) to finalize deals.Daily Operations and Reporting- Monitor and report daily activities, including job submissions, interviews, and placements. - Maintain an organized database of consultant profiles, job requirements, and client feedback. - Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards for contracts and work authorizations.Business Growth- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's client base. - Represent the company at networking events, job fairs, and client meetings. - Develop strategies to maximize the placement of bench resources and improve revenue generation.Skills and QualificationsMandatory- 5+ years of experience in IT consulting and staffing, with a focus on bench resources. - Strong understanding of IT roles, skills, and work authorizations (H1B, F1-OPT, EAD, etc.). - Experience in resume writing, marketing consultants, and preparing them for interviews. - Proven ability to manage relationships with clients, vendors, and recruiters. - Knowledge of contract negotiation, MSAs, SOWs, and compliance processes.Preferred- Familiarity with MSP/VMS systems. - Hands-on experience with CRM tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS). - Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Additional Benefits- Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives. - Flexible work environment with opportunities for growth. - Health benefits, transportation allowance, and other perks.This role is ideal for a results-driven professional passionate about driving success through effective bench resource management and business development strategies.
