Job Title: Product Manager – Airline Refunds & Travel APIsExperience: 8 to 15 YearsLocation: Pune /GurugramIndustry: Travel, Transportation & HospitalityEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Product Manager with deep domain expertise in airline refunds, GDS systems (Sabre/Amadeus), and working knowledge of Python to lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of refund-related products and solutions. You will work closely with engineering, business, and airline partners to optimize refund workflows and enhance customer experience.Key Responsibilities- Own and define the product roadmap for airline refunds and related workflows. - Collaborate with engineering and business teams to build scalable refund processing systems. - Work hands-on with Sabre and Amadeus APIs to design and improve integration solutions. - Partner with airline stakeholders and internal ops teams to understand gaps, pain points, and revenue leakage in refund processes. - Define product requirements and user stories with a strong emphasis on automation, compliance, and customer satisfaction. - Use Python for data analysis, prototyping, or to collaborate effectively with tech teams. - Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity in airline refund handling. - Drive agile practices and continuous iteration based on feedback and metrics.Required Skills & Experience- 8 to 15 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in Product Management. - Strong understanding of airline refund processes, proration, and fare rules. - Hands-on experience with Sabre and Amadeus APIs (especially in booking, ticketing, and refund modules). - Working knowledge of Python (ability to read, analyze, and prototype with scripts). - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex products at scale. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. - Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and analytics dashboards.-Good to Have- Prior experience in B2B or B2C travel tech platforms. - Exposure to NDC (New Distribution Capability) APIs and airline settlement systems. - Certification in Product Management, Agile, or relevant GDS systems.
