Nuevosol Energy Private Limited is a leading provider of innovative, precision-engineered solar mounting structures or utility-scale and rooftop projects, committed to driving the global clean energy transition. As the company expands internationally, Nuevosol is enhancing its Asset Performance and Operations team to ensure top-tier reliability, efficiency, and energy yield. In line with this, Nuevosol is seeking a Performance Analyst to establish and lead its performance analytics function, building the necessary tools, processes, and systems to optimize solar infrastructure performance and support smarter design, proactive maintenance, and improved project outcomes.Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and define performance analytics requirements, identifying key technical and financial metrics to enhance project efficiency and outcomes. - Collaborate with the data storage team to understand and support the identification of critical equipment, data outputs, and available project data for effective performance analysis and optimization. - Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to address data communication issues and ensure that delayed data is effectively integrated into the relevant systems for accurate performance tracking. - Develop tools and calculations to trend and compare specific equipment performance against: (i) predefined metrics such as expected generation, availability, and performance ratios; (ii) the performance of similar, on currently operating equipment; and (iii) long-term averages—all aimed at identifying performance improvement opportunities, particularly in the DC field. - Create overall project performance calculations to support Nuevosol-defined metrics, including expected generation, actual project availability, performance ratio, capacity factor, and more. - Categorize and assign downtime events and lost energy to the appropriate causes and responsible parties to support accurate tracking of performance guarantees and optimization efforts. - Interpret PPA and O&M contracts to accurately calculate contractual performance metrics. - Review and reconcile contractual availability requirements with O&M providers and PPA counterparties. - Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders that detail equipment and project performance and highlight areas needing improvement. - Communicate data-driven insights to internal teams and external O&M providers, and work with Operations colleagues to resolve performance issues and maximize energy generation. - Stay updated on industry performance metrics and advise Nuevosol on new methodologies for evaluating and enhancing plant performance.Required Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Data Science, or a related field. - Experience: 4+ years in performance analysis, data analytics, or a related field in renewable energy or solar projects. - Certifications: Preferred in energy management, data analysis, or project management.
