JOB DESCRIPTION Day to day: A Fortune 50 client is looking to bring on a team members as a GCP SRE Technical Lead who will be hands on and helping in the design, management, and optimization of this client’s cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of our services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, automate processes, and drive continuous improvements in our cloud environment. Your job responsibilities will include designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, monitor and optimize performance, ensure high availability, automate processes, incident response, security and compliance, as well as capacity planning. You will be collaborating closely with development teams to ensure smoot deployment and operations of applications into the GCP cloud environment. The ideal candidate will be local to Hyderabad, India and willing to go onsite to the client’s campus at least two days a week. The preferred shift is an 8 hour shift between 11:00 AM IST to 9:00 PM IST.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps role, with a focus on GCP cloud infrastructure 1+ years of experience in Lead or Architect level role Proficiency in GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Stackdriver Experience with container orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and analytical approach Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer certification Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure Experience with managing relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configurations
