This enables faster decision making via standardized reporting, automated services, and the deployment of best-practice data visualization and reporting design across the business. The visualization & interaction sciences team should be the go-to resource for ad-hoc data preparation and data analysis, translation of complex insights, and dashboard design and deployment.Who we’re looking for: Primary Responsibilities: Visualization Design: Lead and establish best practices in data visualization design Report Design: Design, develop, and automate recurring reports, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness Dashboard Creation: Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and visual data outputs using tools like Power BI and Tableau Data Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support specific business needs Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making Data Oversight and Prep: Oversee manual data preparation where needed and ensure alignment with business goals Data Preparation: Prepare, clean, and structure data for accurate visualizations and reporting Corporate Impact: Directly influences the achievement of operational goals of a team Level of Skill: Influence without direct exercise of command; persuasion required to effect change Primary Audience: Internal Nature of Interaction: Engages in communication with individuals who may hold differing perspectives but share a common interest, primarily motivated by a shared goal of finding a resolution Level of Skill: Change significantly by enhancing entire existing processes, systems and/or products Complexity: Innovation is difficult; problems and issues may be only vaguely defined and require understanding & consideration of other disciplines and job areas Knowledge: Requires advanced/well-developed skills and expertise within a specific professional discipline; ability to integrate theory & principles with organizational practices.
