Role overview and responsibilities Dhruva Space is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements. This role involves supporting day-to-day finance operations and market research efforts to provide actionable insights for decision-making.‍Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements, with the ability to analyze and interpret key financial metrics. Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including handling internal and external correspondence. Utilize basic analytical skills to identify trends and discrepancies in financial data. Participate in discussions and follow up on action items as needed. Conduct thorough research and analysis on the space industry to generate actionable market intelligence. Employ various research methodologies, including market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and trend forecasting. Synthesize complex information from multiple sources, presenting findings clearly and concisely, and providing strategic recommendations to support decision-making.Candidate Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant is an advantage. 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Strong verbal and written communication skills for handling correspondence, drafting reports, and explaining financial information clearly. High level of integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and maintaining professional conduct at all times. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Exhibits a proactive attitude and adaptability, eagerly embracing new tasks and challenges while effectively handling evolving responsibilities.
