As part of a small group of technology experts, you will identify, recommend, and implement innovative solutions and best practices to continuously improve, expand and protect our Identity Services supporting multiple large services and all our associates, worldwide. Your experience in the identity industry will allow you to be part of migrations, integrations, and improvement projects, related to our Identity Service to support the growth of client businesses through, for example, AD migration.Essential duties and responsibilities:As the Identity Engineer, you’re at the core of one of the largest services in our global organization. Your experience in the identity industry will allow you to support AD migrations, integrations, and Azure Entra ID environment, related to our Identity Service to support AD migration activities within forest or on premise to Azure Entra ID environment.Plan for and perform the consolidation and migration of AD objects to Entra IdentityExperience in Active Directory is must.Experience of working in Entra Identity environment.Understanding and working experience of consolidation / migration tools like Active Directory Migration Toolkit to migrate users, groups, and computer objects between forests.Use of PowerShell, Quest Migration Manager or ADMT and other automation tools to automate the migration / consolidation steps as much as possible.Identify and resolve AD/Entra health issues which may impact migrations.Integrate with teams supporting AD dependent applications on-premises and in the cloud.Work with customer stakeholders very closely and help in executing the migration/consolidation as well as providing regular and transparent communication to all stakeholder in a timely manner. Relationships:You will work with Corporate IT architects, engineers, Vendor support team, and leadership team on AD migration projects. Our customers are our associates, who are supported by local IT teams; the people in these local IT teams are your interface with the customer. Maintaining a good relationship with our global IT teams is key to your success. In your role you will need to be able to communicate with people at all levels in the organization and work with several of our suppliers and partners.Must Have’s:4+ years hands-on experience supporting mid-size, complex infrastructures, and projects.Experience in working with large teams where teamwork, communication, scripting, process, and monitoring are key elements to success.To you a good script is as much fun as reading a good book.Excellent English communication skills are required.Should possess good troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring skills.You have significant expertise in the following technologies:Azure Active Directory / Entra ID supportActive DirectoryAD migration tools like QuestAD MigrationsAD User ManagementAD computer object managementScripting with PowerShellMicrosoft Windows Server technologies Your AttributesAbility to adapt to a dynamic environment and changing business requirements.Highly collaborative, successful in a matrixed and geographically diverse environment.Detail and results oriented.Bachelor’s degree (preferred)Excellent English communication skills are required.
