Position Title: Quantity Surveyor - Building Industry Department: Cost Management Location: Delhi NCR Employment Type: Full-Time Number of Positions: 10Job PurposeTo manage all cost-related activities for civil building projects—including estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration—ensuring accurate financial control and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for building industry works.Develop cost estimates, budgets, and cash-flow projections at various design stages.Review contractor bids and negotiate rates to achieve cost-effective solutions.Monitor project costs, track variations, and certify interim payments.Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to control costs and optimize value.Conduct risk analysis and recommend mitigation strategies for cost overruns.Maintain accurate cost records and prepare regular financial reports.Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil building projects.Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, WinQS) and MS Excel.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costing principles.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
