Location: New DelhiEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are looking for an innovative Food Technologist to join our team and play a key role in developing and improving our Crunchy Makhana products. From research and development to quality control and compliance, you’ll help create snacks that are delicious, nutritious, and market-ready.Key Responsibilities:Food Quality & Safety:Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and finished products.Use laboratory equipment such as moisture meters, texture analyzers, pH meters, colourimeters, and spectrophotometers to ensure consistency and compliance.Perform microbiological testing to detect spoilage organisms and pathogens.Maintain compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and FDA food safety regulations.Product Development & R&D:Develop new flavours and formulations for roasted makhana.Test and refine ingredient combinations for improved taste, texture, and shelf life.Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer trials to assess product appeal.Research and implement natural preservatives and clean-label solutions.Manufacturing & Process Optimization:Work closely with the production team to optimize roasting, seasoning, and packaging techniques.Monitor moisture content, crispiness, and oil absorption levels to maintain product quality.Troubleshoot processing issues and implement process improvements.Ensure proper storage conditions to enhance shelf stability.Ingredient Sourcing & Supplier Coordination:Evaluate and approve raw material suppliers for consistency and quality assurance.Work with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality ingredient sourcing.Documentation & Compliance:Maintain detailed records of lab testing, quality checks, and production trials.Prepare reports on nutritional analysis, shelf-life studies, and product stability.Assist in labelling compliance, ensuring accurate ingredient and nutritional information.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.Experience: 2+ years in food R&D, quality control, or product development.
