About the Role:Education & Relevant Experience:M.A (Eco)/ MBE,/ MBA/ MPP/ MSc (Defence / Strategic Studies preferred)Total experience of around 4-6 yearsExperience in Chambers / Associations / Think Tanks desirablePrincipal Accountabilities:Should be able to articulate issues, both policy & trade, and be able to work towards advocacy for the same.Should be able to represent FICCI, develop external linkages and long-term partnershipsSector specific research and ability to produce White Papers / ReportsConceptualize and develop program sector, create marketing collaterals (brochures, Flyers, adverts etc.), brief vendors / agencies and delivery partners as per planRevenue generation through sponsorship and grants for various program including but not limiting to conferences, seminars, delegations, projects etc.Ability to identify key resource personnel / partners (Industry leaders) for various program and should be able to recruit them appropriatelyLook at developing Industry-Academia linkages.Create opportunities in terms of events and generate sponsorshipCreate Linkages with other stakeholders in defence & aerospace around the worldCompetencies:Technical (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude):Understands the industry and its business / value drivers.Ability to identify business opportunity from Chamber’s perspective and leverage the sameHas demonstrated ability to meet/exceed deadlinesIs able to work independently, to manage multiple priorities, to work well under pressure and to deliver effectively in a complex environmentOrientation of servicing membersGeneric / Managerial:Has excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skillsHighest level of integrity and commitmentHas a business-minded approachProven networking skills, preferably with CXOsIs motivated to work and act autonomously; simultaneously having strong alignment with peersIs able to interact with senior stakeholders, both from industry and Govt.Proven track record of good inter-personal skills.
