Role PurposeConduct detailed site surveys for commercial and industrial clients, Identify project feasibility, suitable components, and site-specific constraints.Design optimized renewable energy systems, including solar PV and battery storage.Manage end-to-end technical aspects of project execution and build strong relationships with clients, creating trust and encouraging project sign-off.Ensure project compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and regulations.Support the business in tender responses and proposal preparation.Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in renewable energy.Experience in MW scale solar power plant will be preferred Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical layouts and SLDs for solar PV systems (LV, MV, HV), including hybrid and BESS setups, using tools like PVsyst, Aurora, Helioscope, and SolarPlus, while performing key technical calculations (voltage drop, cable sizing, short circuit current, and load balancing).Conduct site inspections to evaluate technical feasibility, perform generation forecasts and shading analysis, calculate ROI, IRR, LCOE, and payback periods, and prepare risk assessments with mitigation strategies.Support clients by explaining technical aspects, addressing queries, offering expert recommendations, and representing the project in meetings and presentations throughout its lifecycle.Prepare and review tender submissions with accurate cost and technical inputs, ensuring all project documentation complies with relevant standards.Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, and contractors for specifications, evaluate and select key components, support procurement, and manage delivery timelines as per project schedule.Ensure adherence to national and international standards, grid requirements, and OH&S regulations, while staying updated on evolving codes, certifications, and local policies.Provide regular progress updates, identify and implement system improvements, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation.
