DMI is supported by global institutional investors, strategic family offices and leading banks and public market creditors in India.Job Purpose:The candidate will play a key role in supporting our investments in structured finance transactions, including securitization, direct assignment (DA), and pass-through certificates (PTCs). The ideal candidate will evaluate deal opportunities presented by originators (NBFCs, MFIs, fintechs), perform analysis, and assist in end-to-end investment execution and monitoring.Partner with the F&A and Business teams to deliver AOP/budget/projections and manage business P&L by optimizing/monitoring costs and income across partners and productsPrincipal Accountabilities:1. Deal Sourcing and EvaluationAssess securitization and DA proposals received from originators, banks, and arrangers.Perform preliminary credit and pool-level analysis (stratification, delinquency trends, loss assumptions).Build or validate cash flow models to evaluate deal structure, IRR, and risk-adjusted return.2. Stakeholder engagement, Due Diligence & DocumentationWork with arrangers, rating agencies, and trustees during deal structuring and negotiation.Coordinate due diligence on originators: review operational, credit, and legal aspects.Review key transaction documents (term sheets, assignment agreements, Information Memorandum) with legal and compliance teams.Ensure adherence to internal investment policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI, SEBI).3. Portfolio MonitoringMonitor post-investment performance of securitized/DA assets, including pool cash flows, defaults, and recoveries.Track triggers, covenants, and early warning signals in ongoing transactions.Maintain dashboards and prepare periodic MIS/reports for internal stakeholders and regulators.4. Market Intelligence & StrategyKeep track of market developments, regulatory updates, and emerging trends in structured finance.Contribute to investment strategy, pricing decisions, and risk management frameworks.Evaluate new asset classes and originators for potential investment partnerships.5.Budgeting, Financial Modelling, MIS, P&L Analysis,Developing financial models and providing financial forecastsWorking on annual budgets, annual operating plans and monthly projections and P&L estimates.Analyzing and comparing current and past financial data and communicate insights.Preparation of monthly MIS for the business unit to help senior management take tactical and strategic business decisionsQualification and Work Experience:Minimum Qualification required: Chartered Accountant/MBA from Tier I collegeWork ExperienceMinimum: 3 years of experienceSolid understanding of securitization structures, DA frameworks, and RBI regulationsStrong financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel a must; SQL, Python, or VBA a plus)Excellent analytical and communication skills; experience with legal documentation review is a plus
