Clothing Tech is a fast growing innovative software startup. We provide automated solutions to clothing brands and manufacturers to reduce the time between style idea and start of production. Our unique FashionR solution allows garment professionals to define the garment requirements and then we automate pattern creation, marker making, assembly operation planning and costing, and 3D sample creation. The position is remote but you will be working closely with our team in India. There would be regular evening meetings with the US team.ResponsibilitiesYou will work with our commercial team to prepare demos for new customers.Define points of measure in our FashionR software.Train customers on how to create points of measure and to use the automated pattern making tools found in FashionRTrouble shoot issues with customers and resolve problems in point of measure creation and using the automated pattern making tools.Give feedback to the R&D team on ways to make improvements in the software.Assist in creating new blocks for specific garment categories as needed.QualificationsEducation:Diploma/Degree in Fashion Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or Pattern Making.Experience:We are looking for someone who has extensive pattern making experience to work with our customers as they convert their process from manual pattern making to automatic pattern generation (using points of measure). You should have at least 8 years of experience of creating a pattern in 2D CAD systems such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, or Tuka or similar. You should be expert at taking the requirements from the pattern as found in a tech pack and converting them into a pattern.Strong knowledge of garment fitStrong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with our commercial team and with customers
