About the Role:Education & Relevant Experience:M.A (Eco)/ MBE,/ MBA/ MPP/ MSc (Defence / Strategic Studies preferred)Total experience of around 10-12 yearsExperience in Chambers / Associations / Think Tanks desirablePRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESAnalyze agricultural policies, trade regulations, and their impact on agribusiness.Engage with government bodies (MOAFW, Agriculture Extension bodies, ICAR, NITI Aayog, etc.) on policy matters.Liaise with agribusiness stakeholders, farmer organizations, startups, and corporate leaders.Plan and execute events such as Summits, Conferences, Industry roundtables, Policy Dialogues, Task Force Meetings, Committee Meetings, Delegations, etc.Preparing concept notes/Knowledge papers/ Reports/ Representations on emerging agri-policy issues/ Proposals for organizing sector specific programsRegular interaction with Committee members and relevant industryCompetenciesTechnical (Knowledge, Skills, Attitude)Strong understanding of Indian agriculture policy, trade and schemes.Experience in liaising with government stakeholders and regulatory bodies.Excellent research, report-writing, and policy analysis skills.Ability to organize industry events, working groups, outreach programmes and delegations.Strong Communication, networking and relationship-building skills.Ability to collect Primary and Secondary dataRegular interaction with Committee members.Preparing concept notes/Knowledge papers/proposals for organizing sector specific programs/ preparation of presentation, etc.Ability to raise sponsorshipsGeneric / ManagerialLooking for someone who can work independentlyTeam player-Work in co-ordination with others and understanding other’s viewpointAbility to multi-task and learnGood organizational skills.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
