Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Retail Ad Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling advertising space and opportunities to local businesses, helping them enhance their visibility and reach within the retail environment. Your primary objective will be to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their marketing needs, and drive ad sales by presenting tailored solutions that generate growth for both the client and the business.Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Business Development: Identify and prospect potential advertising clients within the local retail market. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their marketing goals and advertising needs. Sell a variety of retail advertising products such as Lift branding, InApp and Society Activation Develop and deliver sales presentations tailored to individual client needs, demonstrating the value and effectiveness of advertising opportunities. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals. 2. Client Consultation and Strategy: Work closely with clients to understand their marketing objectives and target audience. Advise clients on the most effective advertising solutions, including pricing, placement, and campaign strategies to maximize ROI. Guide clients through the ad creation process, offering recommendations on creative content, ad formats, and media placement. 3. Market Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, retail advertising opportunities, and competitor offerings. Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, purchasing behavior, and local business needs. Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly. 4. Advertising Campaign Execution: Coordinate with internal teams (creative, marketing, production) to ensure the successful execution of ad campaigns. Oversee the delivery of advertising materials and ensure that campaigns run smoothly. Track the performance of advertising campaigns, providing clients with regular updates and analytics to ensure satisfaction. 5. Client Retention and Upselling: Build long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing customer support and delivering results-driven solutions. Identify opportunities for upselling additional advertising services or features that enhance the clients campaign. Handle client concerns and issues promptly, ensuring that all expectations are met. 6. Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and ad placements in CRM systems. Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and campaign status to management. Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and invoices as needed.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in sales, preferably in retail advertising, media sales, or a related field. Strong knowledge of retail advertising products and solutions, including digital media, print, and in-store promotions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements: Ability to travel locally to meet with clients (may require a valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle).
