Responsibilities: As an Instructional Designer at Starweaver, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of online education. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Course Content Development:Collaborate with our Director of Content and third-party subject matter experts from around the world to plan, design, develop, and update instructional content for various courses and learning materials. Curriculum Design:Create structured and effective course and curriculum plans, write and update learning objectives, define module-by-module course content, create in-video questions (IVQ), review course quizzes and final exams and more to ensure alignment with educational goals.This will include working with our global clients through a detailed review of the content through Slack, email, conference/Zoom/Teams-type calls and meetings Pre-Production Planning and Post-Production Multimedia Integration:Identifying where and what exact types (and content for) animations, illustrations, slide build, chirons, text-overs, and other multimedia elements are added to course videos and related content to enhance the learning experience. Working with our clients, as well as our post-production team to create quality multimedia integrations, but also to ensure that the post-production team can “pre-produce” libraries of content relevant to our client needs to speed the post-production process. Project Management:Employ project management tools in our online, proprietary dashboards for defining, tracking, analyzing and reporting project progress, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Technology Integration:Reporting information to clients from our own dashboards, but also to update and manage that information on their own dashboards to optimize the delivery of educational content. Quality Assurance:Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of instructional materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to instructional design best practices. Feedback Incorporation:Gather feedback from learners, instructors, and stakeholders to continuously improve and refine instructional content. Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, educators, and developers, to ensure the seamless integration of instructional materials into our platforms. Product and platform enhancements:Working with our internal content, project management and technology team to create new and better ways to manage our “content factory” so that superlative content can be delivered in the most efficient manner possible. Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: Educational Background:Bachelor's or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Experience:A minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design or a similar position. Creativity:A creative mindset with a proven ability to design engaging and effective learning experiences, brainstorm new ideas for multimedia animations, etc. for course outlines and scripts that you have been provided. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely. Adaptability:Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Collaboration:A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Technology Skills:Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and multimedia production tools is a plus. Practicalities: This position is full-time. For Delhi, the role is On-site, (Hybrid) where you are required to work for certain days from the office; candidates applying from places other than Delhi (NCR) will be working remotely.
