With a rich legacy of over 65 years, CITI plays a pivotal role in representing and supporting the Indian textile industry's growth through policy advocacy, events, strategic initiatives, and knowledge dissemination.About the Role: CITI is seeking an experienced and visionaryMedia Managerto take charge of all communication and media-related functions. The Manager will play a key role in strengthening CITI’s voice across traditional and digital platforms, building stakeholder engagement, and enhancing the organization’s visibility nationally and globally.Key Responsibilities: Media Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive media and communications strategy aligned with CITI’s mission and industry focus. Content Development & Management: Oversee the creation of engaging, informative, and policy-driven content across formats—press releases, newsletters, social media posts, blogs, annual reports, and video features. Digital & Social Media Management: Lead content strategy and execution across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook to increase online engagement and reach. PR & Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with national media houses, journalists, and editors. Handle all media queries, press conferences, and outreach campaigns. Event Coverage & Promotions: Plan and supervise media coverage for CITI events, conferences, textile expos, government dialogues, and international delegations. Ensure strong pre-event buzz and post-event visibility. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, government officials, industry leaders, and partner associations to align communication strategies and disseminate key updates. Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report the effectiveness of media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.Key Requirements: Minimum2 years of experiencein media management, digital communications, or a similar role, preferably in industry associations, policy think tanks, or trade bodies. Strong command over written and spoken English; ability to draft press notes, reports, and official communication. Excellent understanding of both traditional and digital media platforms. Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and multitasking abilities. Prior experience in textile, trade, or policy-focused organizations is desirable.Why Join CITI?
