Role Description The incumbent would be responsible for overseeing financial statement preparation, book closing, and treasury management. The ideal candidate should preferably have experience in the travel or service industry. The incumbent will play a critical role in maintaining financial health, ensuring compliance, and optimizing cash flow for the organization. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Book Closure Ensure timely and error-free closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, including Forex transactions. Oversee books of accounts and consolidation of financial statements. Coordinate statutory audits, limited reviews, and tax audits. Conduct competitive analysis for reviews and prepare Forex business reports. Consolidate Forex trial balances quarterly for financial reporting. 2. Fixed Asset Management & Tax Compliance PrepareHO and branch-wise Tax Audit schedulesand ensure compliance. Managecapitalization, depreciation (as per IND AS), and periodic physical verificationof fixed assets across HO and branches. Ensure compliance withCARO guidelinesfor asset management. 3. Treasury & Payroll Management Forecast daily cash flow for optimal treasury management and minimize idle funds. Ensure zero overdraft utilization through effective fund planning. Conduct bank reconciliations, manage banking relationships, and negotiate financial agreements. Oversee monthly payroll processing, tax deductions, actuarial valuations, and TDS returns. Address employee tax queries and update salary records in ERP. 4. Procurement & Forex Operations Drive cost-effective procurement while ensuring compliance with competitive buying principles. Negotiate key contracts, purchase orders, and administrative procurements. Handle VTM settlements for Forex business and manage client extensions. Liaise with stakeholders to resolve Forex-related queries. Key Competencies Good accounting and excellent analytical and financial skills. Sound knowledge of Core Finance Areas, financial compliance and - Regulatory Market, Forex, etc. Analytical mindset, and able to handle multiple tasks, works intensely towards extremely challenging goals and persists in the face of obstacles or challenges. Strong team player, encourages other team members to participate and contribute, acknowledges others contribution. Proficient in Excel & Advance Excel Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA (Finance) may also be considered. Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar finance and accounts role. Experience in the travel, hospitality, or service industry is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, TDS, and corporate taxation. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle) and MS Excel.
