Our core founding team members are tenured Amazon alumni who have built and scaled multiple billion-dollar businesses.About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales leader to drive cross border Ocean/ Air Freight B2B business development and acquisition efforts. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, fostering relationships with customers across various industries, and contributing to the overall success of Xhipment. Research and generate lists of potential customers. Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature.Responsibilities: Business Development:Lead the strategic planning and execution of business development activities for the Ocean/ Air Freight B2B segment. Identify potential customers, explore new markets, and create effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Customer Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their unique logistics requirements and present tailored solutions to meet their needs, always ensuring a customer-centric approach. Sales Execution:Execute the strategies to achieve targets and objectives. Mentor team members, offer support, and foster a high-performance culture within the team. Market Analysis:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and potential challenges. Utilize this knowledge to devise effective sales strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with various internal teams, including operations, customer service, and technology, to ensure smooth customer onboarding, service delivery, and issue resolutionWhat are we looking for? Education Qualification:Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field Professional Qualification:Minimum of 3 years of cross-border logistics sales experience with a freight forwarder/liner (preferred) Customer Obsession:Demonstrated commitment to ensuring exceptional customer experiences and a passion for exceeding customer expectations Ownership Mentality:Proven ability to take ownership of projects, think long-term, and deliver results, taking responsibility for customer success Bias for Action:Strong ability to act quickly and decisively, collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomesWhy work with us?
