We also need to spread awareness of how a concentrated period of learning with right mentorship can help accelerate your Software Engineering SkillsWhat you will doThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring qualified employees. This role will partner closely with hiring managers across various departments to understand their talent needs and develop effective sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFull Lifecycle Recruitment:Manage the entire recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening resumes, conducting interviews, administering assessments (if applicable), checking references, and extending offers. Needs Assessment:Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their current and future hiring needs, job specifications, required skills, and organizational fit. Sourcing Strategies:Develop and implement creative and effective sourcing strategies utilizing various channels such as online job boards, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), professional networks, employee referrals, campus recruitment, and external recruitment agencies when necessary. Candidate Experience:Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback and maintaining clear communication. Screening and Assessment:Review applications and resumes, conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit, and coordinate further interview stages. Interviewing:Conduct structured and behavioral-based interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and suitability for the role and the organization. Employer Branding:Contribute to building and promoting the company's employer brand to attract top talent. Data Management and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), generate recruitment metrics and reports, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Compliance:Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant labor laws and regulations. Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the recruitment process.What are we looking forBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 1+ years of proven experiencein full lifecycle recruitment, preferably within Edtech Industry. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing methodologies, and selection techniques. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR technology. Proficiency in using social media and professional networking platforms for sourcing. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations in India.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Experience in campus recruitment and employer branding initiatives. Familiarity with psychometric assessments.About the interview We start off with a video conversation to get to know each other, answer any questions you might have about the process, and assess an initial potential match.That will be followed up with a call with our CMO Apaar Agrawal to discuss your past experience and a take-away assignment will be shared with you.Depending on how that goes, you will have a Founders Call with our CEO Manas Kumar Verma, to make you understand the long term vision of our work.
