Job Description: The Environmental Compliance Manager will hold a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, promoting sustainable practices, and mitigating environmental impacts associated with our operations. The candidate will collaborate closely with other departments to integrate environmental considerations into all aspects of our recycling operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans and strategies. Conduct environmental Aspect Impact Assessments (EIAs) and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and permits. Monitor air, water, noise, vibration, emissions, and soil quality to assess environmental impacts and develop appropriate mitigation measures. Provide technical expertise and guidance on environmental best practices, technologies, and innovations. Lead environmental audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Maintain liaison relations with SPCB and CPCB for all legal requirements such as monthly/quarterly/annually return submissions related to E-waste, hazardous waste, plastic waste management rules, and CGWA. Apply for and obtain fresh or renewal of consents (CTO, CTE, CGWA, Hazardous Waste Authorization) approvals, permits, and NOCs from relevant government authorities as needed. Ensure compliance with Environment Statement/Audit reports, Quarterly CCA compliance reports, Form-3, Form-4 of E-waste, plastic waste, and hazardous waste. Manage environment management, sustainability reporting, and environmental compliance. Compliance with all parameters as defined by the PCB/CPCB and statutory bodies. Hazardous waste management as per Hazardous Waste Management Rules. Maintain water balance records. Oversee ETP and STP operations. Maintain essential mandatory records as per norms, including daily log sheets of ETP, STP, water, MIS, and monthly data compliances. Perform essential daily, periodical, and breakdown maintenance for ETP, STP, and air pollution control devices. Work independently on the ISO certification lifecycle. Document ISO 9001, 14001, 45001. Prepare ISO manuals and procedures. Implement systems as per policies and procedures, collaborating with internal teams to update/review policies and procedures. Conduct periodic audits and take actions on audit findings without undue delay. Liaise with certification bodies and stay updated with new requirements. Qualifications and Skills: Should have bachelor's/Master’s degree in Environmental Science or M.Sc in Chemical/Chemistry. The ideal candidate should have proficiency with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 audits and certification processes. The candidate should be ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 certified auditor. Good verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
