Learn more at .Dar is currently seeking an experienced and talented Junior Urban Planner to join its Bangalore Design office. The successful candidate will join an established team of Planning and Urban Design specialists based in Bangalore & London.Responsibilities• Working with colleagues and fellow team members in a positive, enthusiastic and proactive way to deliver high quality project work;• Assisting in the production of masterplan documents and planning deliverables;• Helping to produce the technical inputs of other consultants within the business, the Dar Group, and external consultants;• Assisting in the preparation of reports and creating presentations, diagrams, technical drawings, and other deliverables and ensuring that they are submitted on time and to the highest quality achievable;• Assisting in the preparation of proposals for new projects.Qualification & Experience• A bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or International Planning and a postgraduate degree/diploma in Planning;• Some internship work experience in a multi-disciplinary design environment;• Good design, writing, and presentation skills;• Display an attention to detail and care in production of work material;• A good knowledge and experience of current planning and masterplanning best practices and sustainable development• Display initiative, motivation, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.• Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of a second language is an added bonus;• Good written, listening and verbal communication skills;• Experience of international work environment is a bonus;• Proficiency in InDesign is required;• General knowledge and experience of GIS is needed.
