We're a global team passionate about shaping the future of manufacturing.Position Overview: We're seeking a self-driven Robotics & Automation Simulation Engineer based in India to join our remote team. You'll leverage our simulation software (AddPath and AddPrint) to create robotic manufacturing cell environments, develop models, and run simulations for automated manufacturing processes, focusing on composite materials.While direct composites experience is advantageous, we welcome candidates with strong backgrounds in robotics, automation, and simulation who demonstrate enthusiasm for learning about composite materials and their manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Utilize Addcomposites' software suite to create and manage virtual manufacturing environments and simulationsDevelop digital models of robots and end-effectors compatible with our ecosystemDesign and analyze manufacturing simulations for automated processes including AFP, SCF3D, Automated Trimming, and Filament WindingApply simulation expertise to diverse applications (pressure vessels, automotive components, aerospace structures)Provide technical support to customers with simulation and programming challengesCollaborate with internal teams by providing technical insightsCreate documentation and training materials for simulation best practicesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fieldExperience in robotics simulation within industrial/manufacturing contextsUnderstanding of robotic kinematics, path planning, and offline programmingExperience with simulation software packages (experience with AddPath/AddPrint advantageous)Familiarity with manufacturing processes (composites experience desirable)Proficiency in CAD data and technical drawingsExcellent problem-solving skills and English communication abilitiesCultural Fit:Proactive, self-governing, and reliable in a remote environmentStrong problem-solver who takes ownership of workCollaborative team player with passion for innovationWhy Join Us:Work with cutting-edge technology in automated manufacturingDevelop expertise in the growing field of compositesFully remote position with flexibility and autonomyCompetitive salary and benefits package benchmarked for the Indian market
