Company Description:Our client is one of the reputed names into electrical equipments manufacturing Job Requirement:B.E Electrical with 20+ years’ experience Expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).Proven experience in designing Instrument/Power Transformers and Bushings (220 kV & above).In-depth knowledge of OIP/RIP condenser technology and high-voltage insulation systems.Strong familiarity with IEC 60137, IEEE C57.1901 & 1902 standards.Analytical approach to failure investigation, reverse engineering, and cost optimization.Hands-on exposure to plant operations, manufacturing constraints, and quality control.Ability to balance innovation with sustainability and regulatory compliance.Job Description:Design & Engineering ServicesLead the planning, development, and execution of detailed product designs using CAD and 3D modelling tools.Perform simulations and design verifications to ensure reliability and performance.Create technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications for transformers and bushings (220 kV & above).Conduct cost estimation for components and submit technical offers to customers.Ensure continuous optimization of designs as per evolving client requirements and production feedback.Review technical risks and suggest design modifications to improve efficiency and performance.Adhere to and enforce company design standards, codes, and quality normsBenchmark designs with competitors for performance, cost, and innovation.Documentation & ControlDocument all design processes, specifications, cost/material estimates, and customer feedback in the knowledge management system.Track design accuracy, rework incidents, and maintain design files per ISO/departmental standardsLead ERP and document control functions for the design team.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure design compliance and maintain a repository of past learnings.Operational EffectivenessGuide the team to respond effectively to dynamic product changes and customer requirements.Monitor released design performance, conduct root cause analysis of failures, and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, and SCM) for product realization.Participate in quality audits, ISO audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Understand material properties, costing parameters, and manufacturing feasibility to ensure effective product realization.Team Leadership & DevelopmentMentor and lead the design team in achieving project goals and personal growth.Promote collaboration, innovation, and a culture of excellence within the department.Monitor team performance, define KPIs, and conduct regular reviews.Provide technical training and support to ensure team capability in latest tools and design techniquesIf you are passionate to make your career into leading electrical equipments manufacturing company have the required experience and qualifications as mentioned above, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
