This exciting and senior leadership role is responsible for developing and delivering the HR strategy for Experian India to drive our desired culture, engagement and aggressive projected business growth. This opportunity is as strategic as it is hands-on and is relevant for a refined HR practitioner and leader that’s passionate about the value HR can deliver for an organisation. A key part of the role will be managing and developing a well-formed and high performing HR team based in Mumbai. This role will report administratively into the MD of Experian Credit Information Company of India (ECICI, entity regulated by the RBI) and the Managing Director for Experian India. Functionally, this role will report into the Chief HR Officer for EMAP and will be a key member of the regional HR Team, as well as supporting the Global HR team where required. This challenging yet rewarding role would best suit an individual that likes varied and fast-paced work, with many competing priorities. Prior experience and demonstrated capability in HR Operations, business partnering and a high level of stakeholder management are important. What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian An agile HR practitioner who has a deep understanding of HR strategy as well as a track record of excellence Ability to build sustainable professional relationships and act as a trusted advisor across the spectrum to business leaders and their team members alike A deep understanding of the talent market and landscape across India, especially in the Technology, Analytics and BFSI spaceExperience in working with regulated companies Be competent, focused and outcome driven as well as champion our values; delight customers, value each other, collaborate to win and innovate to grow A change agent who can build HR maturity alongside a rapidly scaling business operation and employee population Passionate about contemporary employee experience and supporting top talent through our organizational offerings and coming up with bespoke initiatives as per the business needsWhat you’ll be doing Lead the delivery of the People Plan within Experian India business - Partner with the country leadership and EMAP HR leadership teams to ensure we attract, develop and retain top talent within the marketContinuously improve HR services and expertise by working collaboratively with the CoE teams and landing regional initiatives in a manner which makes most sense for the market Build and sustain an effective and engaging working environment across the India market and making it a great place to workProactively manages people and organisational risk by providing commercial employment and legal advice and guidance on employment law, ER issues, disputes, organisation changes and other employee changes to senior leaders in support of business goals and strategic aimsDrive continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging technology to create value and meet business needs within the HR functionSet the strategic framework for local employment practices and policy development and ensure strong and robust governance processes are in place as required by the regulator In conjunction with HRBPs, TA partners and Reward Partners manage the entire employee life cycle from hiring top talent to a range of employee engagement initiatives, talent and performance cycles and employee relations activitiesMore about youPeople centric, commercially astute, autonomous and fosters teamwork Experienced and seasoned HR professional; including thought leadership and execution biasBackground and successful experience working for a rapidly scaling matrixed MNCs Excited by challenging work and professional development, evidence of continuous development and leading high performing teams advantageous A forte for building relationships, in-market and across global BU’s and stakeholder groups Understands and appreciates regulations, HR processes and risk management Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to drive quality and quick outcomes in a competitive market Credible and confident, displaying great energy, impact, gravitas, conviction, passion and drive.
