Role: SAP GTS Functional Consultant (Brownfield E4H Migration – Testing Focus)Location: Remote (Must be available during Central European Time (CET) hours)Project OverviewA global SAP customer is in the midst of a GTS V11 to GTS E4H brownfield migration, moving from an AWS-hosted landscape to SAP Private Cloud.This short-term engagement focuses on test execution and remediation support during critical migration phases, including Dev, QA, DR, Cutover, and Hypercare.The functional consultant will serve as the testing SME, working hand-in-hand with internal teams and external partners to identify gaps, manage defects, and ensure system readiness.ResponsibilitiesTest Execution: Execute functional test cases provided by the internal SAP IT/Functional teamsDefect Management: Log, track, and retest functional defects across systems using tools like JIRA and QMetryRemediation Support: Analyze failures, suggest fixes, and assist in coordination with development teamsFunctional Analysis: Validate results, document evidence, and communicate test outcomesCollaboration: Coordinate with functional consultants, security teams, and business stakeholders to close out test phasesKnowledge Transfer: Support documentation, knowledge handoff, and training around testing, security role mapping, and remediation specifics for GTS E4HRequired Experience1–2 full brownfield GTS upgrade/migration projects (preferably from GTS V11 to E4H)Deep knowledge of:SAP GTS process testingSecurity roles redefinitionFiori-based execution vs classic T-Code usageBrownfield migration remediation phasesEnd-user training and functional testing process familiarityAbility to operate independently and work with cross-functional and technical teamsNice to HaveExperience working in Agile environmentsFamiliar with JIRA, QMetry, and MS Teams for collaborationExposure to security & compliance testing within GTS
