Job Description

Prepare baseline integrated project schedules with clear dependencies of all work-streams using Primavera P6 software.Monitor project progress, updates schedule as needed and communicate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track.Play crucial role in optimizing project efficiency, resource allocation, and overall project success within the PMO framework.Generate weekly distributed planning data from various resources loaded-schedules in Primavera P6 software, based on costs, resources or labor units.Prepare Planned Value data and develop periodical project performance reports to Project Control Manager and PMO.Ensure accurate and timely schedule related reporting to various stakeholdersDevelop Project planning packages, which include project execution plan, S-curves, resources histograms and risk registerManage multiple planning and scheduling professionals of various consultants and contractors working on the project for timely data integration.Support PMO team for change management inputsEvaluate impact of changes on time schedule and provide recommendations for necessary mitigations.Collaborate with Project Managers and PMO team members to define project timelines and milestones.Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes or delays.Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to mitigate risks.Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders and team members.Ensure that project schedules align with overall project goals and objectives.Analyze resource allocation and recommend adjustments to optimize efficiency.Prepare regular reports on project status, timelines, and potential risks.Analyze project schedule impacts and prepare trend reports.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential: Ability to handle scheduling conflicts or delays in a projectStrong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to analyze data and identify trends or potential issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdvanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and commissioning work processes.Data management, auditing, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to create look-ahead schedules and customized plansAbility to build relationships with stakeholders and manage expectationsAbility to make timely and informed decisions based on available data.Desired: Project Management Professional Certification is desirable.Use of AI, analytics, and real-time dashboards in project controls. (Eg Leverage advanced analytics, AI-driven forecasting tools, and real-time dashboards to enhance project performance tracking and optimise decision-making in cost, schedule, and risk management.)Experience: At least 10 years of proven experience in project scheduling function and cost planning of major EPC or Turnkey contractsExperience in managing scheduling professionals for large and complex projectsExperience in detailed project schedule development, integrated planning, progress measurement and management reportingExpertise in updating progress in Primavera software on weekly and monthly basisHands-on experience in developing Project S-curves and Histograms.Analysis of project schedules received from various contractors and consultants and provide reports to Project Control Manager and Project Management Office.monitoring and reviewing Earned Value analysis and financial reporting systems, in the field and the home office. Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Proficiency in scheduling software Primavera P6 and MS Project.Expertise in MS Excel and MS office tools.
